Massenza Drilling Rig MI2 is designed specifically for geotechnical and environmental drilling purposes. The rig can enter buildings through doorways and all drilling functions are completely operated by remote control. The rig comes with a 4,000 ft lb rotary head with a maximum speed of 688 rpm for auger drilling, mud rotary, down the hole hammer, SPT, liner soil sampling and coring. A hydraulic hammer enables liner sampling in addition to using split-spoon samplers with the SPT Automatic Drop Hammer.
