MASSENZA MODULAR MSPT & PORTABLE UNITS
The MSPT modular units are light components for quick assembly indoors, in basements and confined spaces. The modular units provide the ability to carry and quickly assemble a unit for geotechnical applications and soil investigations in many hard to reach areas.
SPT tests and Split-Spoon Sampling are completed using the SPT Drop Weight Assembly and the Percussion Hammer is used for liner soil sampling. The MSPT Modular Unit is powered by a separate hydraulic power source with extension hoses enabling the power pack to operate outdoors while the unit is working indoors. The mast length is just 70 inches for low headroom operation.

Model MI1
The Massenza MI1 is a very compact rig on extendable tracks that can perform work indoors or in small places. The rig comes complete with a rotary drive head producing 1,000 ft lbs of torque/300 rpm for auger drilling and coring. The MI1 can also perform SPT tests, undisturbed split-spoon sampling, and liner soil sampling using a hydraulic hammer. All of these tasks are on a compact crawler unit weighing 1,720 pounds.
